This pancake is a very popular malay dessert. The most common flavoring ingredients are coconut cream/milk, grated coconut, pandan leaves and gula melaka. It is very delicious and quite addictive, and nothing beats eating it fresh and warm, hot from the gridle. Right from the first bite,  the magic happens - your teeth start to sink into the soft pancake, as they reach the filling there is a light crunch from the grated coconut. Slowly when you chew, the flavors and textures start to play together inside your mouth and you can't wait to take another bite... and another... and another... Yummy! ... What could be a better summer dessert than sweetcorn tiramisu cake? This tiramisu cake is velvety and moist in texture. It has a faint corn scent that reminds me of summer cookouts but the flavor is almost undefinable. My mouth wants to tell me vanilla but my brain keeps saying "But wait... there is something else!". Sweetcorn takes on a whole new meaning with this recipe. A simple cake that my family just adores! Homemade Durian Dodol - 榴莲柔柔马来年糕

Dodol is a sweet toffee-like confection, made of coconut milk, jaggery and rice flour and is sticky, thick and sweet. There are different versions but the one I love most is made with durian.  Making dodol is a grand affair but also a time-consuming and back-breaking process. Expect to have some arm exercises at stirring the mixture vigorously for about 10 intervals or so - the stickier the texture the better it will taste, but upon reaching the final product the mixture won't be too sticky, only thick and rich. The result of this recipe is soft and slightly chewy, it's just simply delectable! My hard works were well worth it!  ... This simple recipe makes the most amazing custard, with easy get ingredients that are always available in every kitchen. I love this version because it's not nauseating rich, even it is without cream the texture is incredibly smooth, soft and creamy... Tell you, those sweet yet savory fillings when exploded into your mouth, "walau eh" just can't can't wait to stuff another piece again! Ho Chiak! ... It is always a blessing to be able to enjoy one or two of our favorite childhood foods and at the same time passed down its traditional value to our younger generation. Steamed Gula Melaka Cake, easy to make and ingredients are simple! The name itself might make you think this is a real sweet desert, but actually it's not... The deep musky gula melaka aroma is intense and not over powering, the texture is simply light and fluffy! My kids and hubby couldn't wait to taste and they give me a thumbs up after eating it! It's indeed a delicious virtue... yum yum! ~  Steamed Blossom Nutella Cupcakes ~ Ingredients: 275 g plain flour 200 g sugar 3 eggs 1 tbsp ovalette 1 tsp vanilla essence 3 tsp baking powder 200 g coconut milk Nutella Methods: 1. Beat eggs and sugar until the mixture become fluffy. 2. Add vanilla essence, ovalette and baking powder. 3. Add a bit of flour followed by a bit of coconut milk, until the ingredients are used up. 4. After mixing all the ingredients, separate the mixture into 2 bowls, add in colors. 5. Spoon in some mixture, then some Nutella and cover it with more mixture. 6. Design as desired. 7. Steamed the cake for 10 to 12 minutes.

Marshmallow, a type of gooey treat that I don't know why, but I just like buying them even I am not the fans of it! A common way to deal marshmallow in cooking is to toast them over the fire. For me, my marshmallow is called for chilling... This is an easy peasy recipe, beside no baking it does not required whipping as well! Simple and delicious...
