Durian Crepe - 榴莲可丽饼

The king of fruits is not deliciously yummy and creamy on its own, when it is make into Durian Crepe, it's just heavenly satisfying! Tell you, those sweet yet savory fillings when exploded into your mouth, "walau eh" just can't can't wait to stuff another piece again! Ho Chiak!

~ Durian Crepe ~

Ingredients:

Crepe:
4 eggs
200 g cake flour
4 tbsp sugar
4 tbsp melted butter
1/4 tsp salt 
500 ml full cream milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
Few drops of yellow coloring

Filling:
200 ml whipped cream
Durian flesh

Methods:

Crepe:
1. Mix all ingredients and add in melted butter lastly.
2. Filter the batter using a sift and set aside.
3. Prepare a nonstick pan with low-medium heat. 
4. Using a soup ladle, take some batter and pour on the pan, make it round and thin. 
5. Swirl it by moving the pan a little.
6. Cook for 1 minute maximum, or until the bottom of the crepe is cooked and turns slightly brown. 
7. Use a wooden spatula to check the sides. 
8. Gently remove the crepe and place on a plate.
9. Repeat the same until done.
* make about 15 pieces

Fillings:
1. Whip the cream until soft peak form.
2. Mash the durian flesh.
3. Add 1 tsp of whipped cream in the center of the prepared crepe. 
4. Followed by 1 tsp or more durian flesh on the cream. 
5. Add 1 tsp whipped cream again on the durian flesh. 
6. Wrap the crepe by folding in opposite sides of the crepe, fully cover the filling. 
7. Then fold in the other ends. 
8. Repeat the same for remaining crepes.
9. Chill the crepe before served.
