Fried Vegetarian Vegetable Fritters - 炸素菜饼

Everyone loves deep fried crispy fritters especially when there are hot out from wok. Prawns are the common ingredient use in non vegetarian version of this fritter. You can add any crunchy type of vegetables in the batter depending on your preferences but remember never include broccoli to your choice as it will not turn up well. If you are on the hunt for ways to get your kids to eat more veggies, look no further. These crispy fritters taste like you are eating something naughty but they are packed with healthy vegetables.

This delicious vegetable fritters have a scrumptious taste. Fresh carrots, onions, and spring onions are battered, then deep fried to a golden brown. This is an easy recipe with the amazing taste of vegetables, everyone will love and enjoy it!

~ Fried Vegetarian Vegetable Fritters ~

Ingredients:

(A)
150 g self raising flour
150 g water

(B)
40 g carrots, shredded
25 g onions, diced
1 stalk spring onions, diced

Seasoning:
Pinch of salt
Pepper to taste
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp oyster sauce

Methods:
1. Mix ingredient (A) & seasoning, make sure the batter is not lumpy.
2. Add in ingredient (B) and blend well.
3. Fry the fritter over medium heat, till it turns golden brown and it is ready to be served.
