Bread Maker Orange Poppy Seeds Muffin Cake - 面包机香橙罂粟籽马芬蛋糕

With orange juice in the glaze and orange zest in the batter, this poppy-seed doubles up on citrus flavor is made from bread maker. This cake is easy to make and tastes wonderful... Yummy!


~ Bread Maker Orange Poppy Seed Muffin Cake ~

Ingredients:
250 g muffin mix / 马芬混合粉
1/2 tsp baking powder / 发粉
88 g eggs / 鸡蛋
57 g water / 水
70 g butter / 奶油
1 tbsp poppy seed / 罂粟籽
Orange zest / 橙皮

Glazing / 糖汁
30 g sugar / 糖
2 tbsp orange juice / 橙汁

* glazing is optional

Methods:
1. Hand whisk muffin mix, baking powder, eggs, water, poppy seed and orange zest for about 5 minutes.
2. Add in butter and continue mixing for another 10 minute. 
3. Then pour the batter into the baking bucket.
4. Select MENU 15 BAKE, COLOR SETTING to MEDIUM and TIMER to 1 hours 20 minutes.
5. Melt sugar and orange juice over a pan, remove from heat after 1 minute and set aside.
6. Once the cake is ready, while hot brush the glaze over the cake evenly.
7. Take out the baking bucket with mitts and cool down for 10 minutes then gently shake of the cake onto the cooling rack.
8. Make sure the cake is cut when it has fully cooled down.
